Zander Parks is a South Carolina based musician, songwriter, and creative storyteller who creates emotionally resonant stories through music. He is also a successful entrepreneur, balancing a full professional career with a deeply personal creative practice. A classically trained multi-instrumentalist, Zander plays electric violin, guitar, bass, piano, and vocals, blending organic performance with modern production techniques to build immersive, cinematic soundscapes.

His music focuses on themes of love, loss, memory, and connection, often exploring grief in a quiet, reflective way rather than through spectacle. Zander’s debut album Light Years Away is a concept record that tells a linear story about the progression of loss and grief, written in response to the death of his father in a car accident ten years earlier. While the emotions are personal, the story is told through the perspective of his mother as a way of understanding the depth of love that existed before loss reshaped everything.

One of the album’s central tracks, Letters to Nowhere, captures the feeling of still having things left unsaid to someone who is gone. The song speaks to unresolved grief and enduring love, offering space for listeners who have experienced loss without closure.
